Now there has been constant discussion on how will be the mood of Telangana people in the coming parliament elections. At the same time the Dhee pack and Neti Dhatri survey exposed stunning facts about these election results. Now in rural areas deep discussions are going on BRS which reflects their inclination towards this party. Just four months back in these same villages there were discussions held around Congress Party. There appears some realisation among people that voting Congress to power is the great mistake committed by them. This type of situation had prevailed during Telangana movement. Again after a long period there has been clear discussion among people on their future. Gradually water scarcity spreading in all the rural areas and in the place of plenty water now water bottles are appearing in the hands of people. In cities re-entry of tankers already taken place and vessels in the hands of rural people to collect water is now being seen everywhere. Crops are almost become dry and again burning of current motors became common in villages. These adverse situations which were not faced in previous ten years of period, making the people to express their angry in different ways against the Congress Government. Still this is April month; we can easily expect the harsh situations in the coming month of May. This adverse situation definitely will have its negative impact on the present state government in coming days. No positive situation for BJP in Telangana to gain something in the coming elections. Still one month period is there and it is enough for BRS to regain its normal position.
There is lot of difference in between the opinion of people at ground level and those are coming in limelight
The surveys are not giving correct results. Party wise survey reports are different to the news coming out through media. Now parties are able to assess the actual situation at ground level. The surveys conducted by parties clearly saying that BRS wave is full and the result will definitely one sided and in favour of Car! When we observe, just fifteen days back the opinion that prevailed among people is entire different to that of present day thinking. There appears fear among the leaders on the antagonism developed in all over the state. Once a decision established in the hearts of people, they never heed to anybody. In last elections Congress gave assurance on six guarantees. These touched the hearts of the people and they immediately wanted a change in regime. Actually what Congress said in its manifesto during previous Assembly elections is nothing but copy of BRS election Assurances. The Schemes implemented by BRS really outreached the people. Congress expected that if some changes were made in these schemes, it can get benefited. It had kept new names to the existing BRS schemes and entered into election fray. The campaign made by it mainly on ‘one time’, ‘at a time’ reached the masses of Telangana. Then BRS announced its manifesto. People felt all these schemes are already announced by Congress. In reality, those schemes mentioned in its manifesto BRS already implementing them. Instead of ‘if comes to power’, BRS might have campaigned on its schemes already in implementation. This was the mistake committed by BRS turned in favour of Congress. The wantonness of BRS MLAs already created negative among the people. This has become greatest blow for the party. People felt if again voting them to power is nothing but going to hell. Such corrupt MLAs caused irreparable damage to BRS party in previous elections. Because of such MLAs top schemes introduced by party have gone behind the screen. The schemes announced by Congress occupied frontline. Congress made it clear that it will pay Rs.15000 under Raitubharosa at a time. In reality ‘Raitubandhu’ became very much popular and well known to everybody. Even Congress leaders also began to say ‘Raitubandhu’ which they have failed to credit such amount in the accounts of farmers in mean time is the allegation made by opposition. Instead giving proper answer the Congress leaders began to respond with harsh words created problem.
The controversies began like that still being surrounded and have their impact on government schemes
Now Parliament elections came and the way of thinking among the people also gets changed. Water and current the two issues are playing key role in Telangana politics. Now people are not in a position to believe the allegations of Congress that BRS exploited the Kaleswaram Project. Then why Congress is unable to give full water to Telangana? This is the question constantly raised by the people. If any exploitation had been took place, how KCR was able to give full of water for farm lands and turned the state as green carpet? There is no answer from Congress leaders for this question raised by the people. This again occupied key place in the discussions among the people of Telangana that causing to gaining of negative opinion among them. Unfortunately Congress failed to recognise this mood expressed by the people. In fact Congress might have carefully put forward her steps since the beginning of its tenure. Neglecting this main point, Congress leaders began to expose what they called corrupt practices of the previous government. They spent all their valuable time in criticizing the KCR government. Unable to implement those assurances given by them during election campaign, now Congress only relaying on criticism on KCR which can pull out them from this political Styx (vaitarini River). If Congress concentrated on power supply and water it might have not faced this type of troubled situation. Now crops are in drying condition. Due to lack of proper power and water supply crops are getting dried which makes the farmers turn against the Congress government for its inability to provide these two that are being lifeline for them. This situation has making the farmers and all sections of people in villages turn in favour of BRS!
