Now a day’s we come across Pawan Kalyan like leaders in rarest of rare occasions. Straightforwardness, sharpness, fairness and with clear idea on his strengths and weakness Pawan Kalyan proved himself as an able leader of this time. Really this is a rarest leadership quality which is not seen in most of the leaders. At present he has been concentrating on acquiring the experience on administration. For this purpose as per the situation he remains satisfied with Deputy Chief Minister post. In previous elections Pawan main goal was to topple the YSRCP government which he achieved finally. To achieve this he aliened with TDP which not acceptable to BJP leaders. With his hard persuasion at last he became successful and contested the elections making alliance with BJP and TDP. He took every care against splitting of non YSRCP votes. His strategy finally gave fruitful results ultimately defeating YSRCP under the leadership of Jaganmohan Reddy.
Growing maturity
At the beginning Pawan easily subjected to possession lack of self control. But later with the gaining of experience gradually he transformed into a matured politician. At present he might have an opinion that his experience is not enough for the Chief Minister post. Nowadays every leader wants power even they won’t possess experience regarding the administration. Whereas Pawan Kalyan after assessing his abilities has wants to remain as per his strength. Really speaking this is an excellent leadership quality. BJP top leadership identified this quality that possess by Pawan Kalyan, now has been giving training to him in the form of election campaigns in other states. Like this party is training to expose him at National level. Recent Maharastra elections are best example for this. Pawan Kalayan made campaign in Sholapur region. With his charisma he made the party to win all seven Assembly seats in this region. Really speaking it is a very complex region for BJP to gain seats which made easy by Pawan Kalyan. His aggressive speech in favour of Hindus attracted Maratha people very much. Especially Maharastra is being strong hold of Hindutva, it is quite natural for the people to attract towards such speeches. In this region Pawan Kalyan was able to attract large folk of people to his meeting with his charismatic speeches. Especially in Pune, Lathur, Nanded, Sholapur regions Pawan received tremendous response from the people. If any leader wants to shine one must possess the ability to speak the issues relating to the region he went. Such leader should not move away from the track of ideology of that region people believes. All these characters are seen in Pawan Kalyan.
He is very much liked by BJP leaders
BJP top leadership keenly observed the effect of Pawan Kalyan in Maharastra. After looking at the results, now the BJP top brass may utilise his services especially in South India where party is still is weak position. At the same time the BJP is looking Pawan as one among them. Pawan Kalayan has his own following in Telugu States. At the same time he also has good following in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. When Udayanidhi Stalin criticised Sanatanadharma, Pawan Kalyan strongly contended his arguments. Immediately there was great outrage from DMK cadre in Tamil Nadu. But due to presence of folk of strong followers for pawan Kalayan they went back and remain in silence. In Kerala CPM has unofficial social group in the name of Shaji Cherian which still has the profile picture of Pawan Kalyan. Such Charismatic leader Pawan Kalyan now needs some administrative experience. Present AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu always depends on ‘more campaign’ with ‘little work done’. He always is in the fear of Jagan who remain strong contender for the CM post. So Chandrababu always wants to defame Jagan in whenever failure or fault takes place. These are all ‘old fox’ politics. Time has been changed which Babu is unable to accept this fact because of his old age preventing him to understand. Lokesh Charisma not reached to state level. But he always ready to sit on CM seat for which Pawan wants sufficient experience. This is the main difference between these two leaders. Chandrababu never wants to relinquish the CM post and Jagan wants fight individually to gain power. AP people are wise enough to give power to which leader they realise fit for the time.
Raising star
When we compare with other leaders, Pawan Kalyan is raising star. At the beginning he relayed on Communist philosophy and made Cheguvera as his favour leader. After some time he clearly understood the fact that the outdated communist philosophy is not useful. Well understood about strong roots of cast politics finally Pawan began to use his cast card. But all the people belong to ‘Kapu’ community were divided in between YSRCP and TDP. Now his primary task was to consolidate them and to bring them under the umbrella of his leadership. For this purpose he required to create confidence among his community on his leadership. When he was putting his efforts in this direction, BJP which is very strong in National level but weak in Andhrapradesh has been suffering with lack of proper leadership in the state turned its eyes towards Pawan Kalyan. Now it made its alliance with Janasena. It wants to create a strong leader from Kapu Community against ‘Kamma’ and ‘Reddy’ communities. Now the BJP leadership is busy in training Pawan Kalyan to become strong leader. At this juncture Pawan succeeded in pursue the BJP leadership to making alliance with TDP which was not at all acceptable to them. After getting success in his efforts finally NDA alliance came into power in AP.
When not in power, Pawan Kalyan always moved his steps in aggressive manner and after coming to power he has been maintaining his ethical and transparent politics. This attitude of Pawan has making him to become closer to the people of AP. Whereas Chandrababu still spending his time with cunning and diversion politics.
Difference between brothers
Actually speaking Mega Star Chiranjeevi is more charismatic than Pawan Kalyan. The main reason for his failure in politics was lack of aggressiveness which possess by Pawan Kalyan. Chiranjeevi doesn’t have the attitude of giving counter to the criticisms with strong and aggressive voice and unable to attack his opponents. Pawan is not like that. Since the formation of Janasena in 2014, he had chosen to move forward with aggressive manner. Some confusion occurred at the beginning as starting trouble which never stopped his forward movement. His relentless political journey made him to success in his path and finally attained the power in 2024. Now Jansena party has 21 MLAs and 2 MPs. Pawan recorded 100% success rate in these elections. Now he is moving forward as the supporter of ‘sanatanadharma’ which may facilitate to consolidate the Hindu votes.
The role of Chandrababu
Chandrababu also played his own role in making Pawan Kalyan as strong leader. Chandrababu had made an announcement that animal fat was being used in ‘Tiurpathi Laddus’. His main aim was to further defame Jagan in the eyes of Telugu people. Chandrababu did not get the actual result he wants but it turned fortunate to Pawan Kalyan. Immediately Pawan raised his voice in favour of ‘sanatanadharma’ and began his ‘deeksha’ against the happenings in Tirumala. This stand taken by Pawan Kalyan attracted the supporters of ‘Sanatanadharma’ in Telugu States and even in Tamil Nadu. This situation further expanded his leadership qualities which are above the cast politics. If Andhra Pradesh come out of cast politics it will definitely benefits the state. Seemingly this ‘sanatanadharma’ movement may change the attitude of Hindus in AP and helps to consolidate them to vote against the cast politics.
