integrity remain intact. As the cultural representative of Telangana, she has been
trying to highlight the core aspects pertaining to Telangana culture and tradition.
It is a fact that she has never attracted this kind of malicious propaganda which
is aimed at maligning her career and character.
Liquor case a drama of BJP?
It appears that for the last five months, Delhi liquor scam has become an
opportune weapon for BJP to target the Telangana government as well as its
leaders. Nobody knows for certain as to what is the scam and what are the issues
involved in it. As the liquor policy had already been scrapped by the Delhi
government itself, it seems that the BJP is doing much ado about nothing with
regard to that dismantled policy. The BJP is trying to bring something out of
nothing by implicating BRS senior leader Kavita.
BRS the potential force:
Ever since the Bharat RashtraSamithi(BRS) is formed, there has been
tremendous response to it across the nation. The president of the party and the
Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandra Shekhar Rao has brought such a wider
political as well as ideological strength to the party thereby making it a potential
political force in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections. Now it has become clear the
BRS has the nationwide political strength to face BJP at the hustings. It seems
that this is the only reason for the BJP leadership to target BRS so that it is
morally weakened. From the very beginning Mrs Kavita has proved her dynamic
leadership by undertaking many programmes for the cultural upliftment of
Telangana. We cannot find such a dynamic women leader even in BJP. Fearing
the political potentiality as well as the dynamism Mrs Kavita has, the BJP has
been trying to threaten her with cases. Can we consider or term a policy that has
been taken up by an assembly as scam? Even before the policy came into force
how can it be termed as scam ? it is also a fact that the Delhi government has
withdrawn that policy even before it coming into force. How can we say that the
Delhi government did wrong by withdrawing the policy?
In this background it is not out of the context why the central government has
withdrawn the agriculture policies. The farmers of north India severely oppose
the act and brought force on the government to retreat. Just withdrawing an act
does not mean that the government did something wrong.
Anti BJP governments are targeted:
In order to make the opposition ruled governments to submit to its dictacts, the
BJP run central government has been targeting opposition ruled states in a
number of ways.
Is it right to privatise PSUs?
It appears that privatising Public Sector Units has become order of the day. After
the BJP government came to power at the national level there has been selling spree of Public Sector
Units. Is it not wrong to privatise Public Sector Units? In
what way central government’s action in this regard is justified?
Just to divert Adani issue :
Caught in the midst of Adani group issue and also the fallout from the turmoil,
the central government has been trying to divert the issue by targeting opposition
parties that tried to highlight the issue. Almost all the opposition parties united on
the Adani issue. The parties have also projected the investments made by PSUs
like LIC, SBI and other banks. It is also a fact that the BJP ruled central
government has been promoting crony capitalism. Just to coverup the scams
committed by its cronies the BJP government has been targeting opposition
parties and even went to the extent of implicating and arresting them.
How can BRS MLC Kavita influence a liquor policy of Delhi government? Just to
intimidate her politically and morally she has been targeted in the name of the
scam. The allegations against her involvement in the scam are surprising given
the fact that she is not at all involved in it. It is nothing but a political vendetta of
the BJP government to target a leader who has proved her innocence and integrity.
The central government has no time.
Common people burdened:
From soaps to biscuits and from cooking gas to petrol the prices of which have
been hiked so many times. The common people of the country have been
burdened and are heavily pained with the increases. The government has no time
to relieve the commoner from the price hikes for it is busy with targeting
opposition leaders and protecting cronies.
