Now it is summer season. Scorching son has been squeezing our energy in the form of heat. In the first week of April day temperatures crossed 400c. The high temperatures are not coming down even in the evening time. Heat caused by sunshine is giving us caution to remain careful while going outside. Seven days back there was not much heat as like today. In this adverse situation General Elections are being held in our country. For every party leader, candidate and cadre it became essential to make campaign for winning the elections. But one should be very careful while going for campaign or organising rallies. It is better not to go for participating in Public meeting on roads, corner meetings and house to house campaigns after 10AM till evening. Health is wealth. When you are healthy enough you can do as per your desire. So it is better for every leader and party worker to continue their campaign in morning and evening times. After 10AM house to house campaign may be helpful, but road shows and rallies are not at all suggestible. At the same time common people shall be careful while going in transport vehicles arranged by party leaders to participate in public meetings. Party leaders generally travel in the A.C. cars, but what about you? Travelling in topless vehicles under scorching sun definitely has its negative impact on your health. On rare occasions only general elections held in summer season like now. Generally it will be convenient if any elections conduct in rainy or winter seasons. Now these elections will be held in Mid Summer. So heat waves may cause severe health problems not only for leaders but also people who attend their meetings in large number.
Party workers shall be very careful when a leader call them for campaign. Contesting leaders may be financially in sound position with accumulated fixed properties. So they can sustain any type of adverse condition. Higher leaders will come forward to rescue them in any adverse situation relating to health, because such leader is required for the survival of the party. Where as a party worker confined to hold the party flag and eke out his family going for work on daily wage basis. After finishing the campaign work they shall have to return their home with empty hands. He has to spend money from his own pockets. So it better for every worker confining their campaign in their respective villages. Don’t participate in road shows and public rallies. If any leader insists, give them your negative response. Every leader requires your presence at this election time only. After elections you have to go in your own way. Leaders will become busy with their activities and may not have time to bother about you. No leader will be ready to take the responsibility of welfare of the party workers. They may assure you that whenever necessity arises can come forward to save you. If you go to meet them in an occasion when help is needed, simply they hide their face. That will be the reward you receive from such opportunistic leaders. Even if you attend such campaign programmes on your own interest towards a party, leaders will think that you came for beer and biryani. That means the relation between a party worker and leader confined to beer and biryani. That’s all. A leader never exposes his intention to anybody. They always look with smiling faces and praise you when ever occasion comes. This makes you to felt very happy and remain loyal to such leader. Here is strong suggestion that don’t fell in such tricks. You must be very careful to protect your integrity.
In this mid summer season if you fell ill with sunstroke and confine to bed at your home, the leaders on whom you have strong belief never comes to you for neither console nor giving medical help. Even if any untoward thing happens, such leaders will try to utilise this incident for their political benefit. Really speaking the leaders who won the elections won’t have time to reach you and those defeated simply hide their faces. That means a leader either won the election or defeated never show any inclination towards you to do any favour. If a leader calls you on telephone means he has work with you. Keeping this point in your mind respond as per the situation demands, but not fully and blindly moves forward with unnecessary confidence. Don’t forget, no leader will call with an intention to help you. Even any leader comes forward to give you ticket in local body elections; he will definitely wish something from you in return. No leader will give you ticket freely in recognition of your hard work. These two points shall keep in mind by every party worker. Another point is that, your preference depends on your ability to influence the people of your area. This is the most critical point you must keep in your mind.
Every party worker has his own family. Father, mother, wife and children are depended on you. When you want to take a decision to move forward to participate in public meetings, rallies and road shows think twice. After these election your requirement will be for next local body elections only. If you have individual liking towards a party, then show your affection by voting in favour of it. Giving vote is your right in a democracy. Knowingly or unknowingly number workers belongs various parties spoiling their lives through participating in various political activities with losing earning age. Party may come to power or not, the every minute you lose never get back. Every leader utilises your services to climb the ladder of his political career. In such selfish attitudes prevails, you must be careful about your future. First give preference to your family and for your career. Without financial earning you can’t move a step forward in your life. So taking care of your health, future and family must careful in every step you put forward. This is utmost important at present circumstances.
