The destruction made by two cast people now became bane for the people of Hyderabad. One particular cast people once confined to Khammam district now reached Hyderabad. In the name of ‘self respect of Telugu people’ this cast which grabbed the power plundered the Telangana state. Because of these two casts the existence of Telangana totally dismantled. Finally Telangana people turned into second grade one. Actually speaking this exploitation started from the tenure of late Kasu Brahmananda Reddy. When Telugu Desam came into power, NTR had made Gandipet his residence and facilitated his cast people to occupy the lands in surrounding areas. Hyderabad surrounding lands were gone into the hands of a particular cast people during the tenure of Chandrababu Naidu. Seemandhra + cast card turned into brand to grab the lands like cake. Muralimohan like small actor transformed into milliner only because of cast card along with the support extended by Chandrababu. Such people occupied government lands, tanks and other water bodies in indiscriminate manner. With all such acts, Hyderabad lost its vitality and gradually fell as victim of pollution. Now if you look into Hyderabad everywhere you observe the people belong to these two casts of Seemandhra. The friends and relatives of the leaders of Seemandhra have made constructions in the lands they encroached. In those days the officials also belong to Andhra region, they also facilitated such occupation with their extended cooperation. Like that every place Hyderabad has gone under their encroachment. With all these acts the beauty of Hyderabad totally disappeared and transformed into concrete jungle. Nalas, assigned lands, ponds, tanks, lakes all have gone under occupations. Once upon a time banjara hills and Jubilee hills were famous for their nature beauty. Now two hills totally disappeared. In those days Telangana people didn’t want to come and settle in Hyderabad because this capital city lies nearer to them. This was the main reason for Telangana leaders for not shown any interest to accumulate properties in Hyderabad. At the same time these leaders were habituated to work under Seemandhra leaders. With the great desire to attain posts they have forgotten to ask about un-justice caused to Telangana.
Telangana leaders who wanted to run their politics in united Andhra Pradesh gradually lost their identity due to the domination of Andhra politics. Those remaining leaders adjusted themselves and continued to become tails of Andhra leaders. So their role confined to get any post and to become satisfy with the post they got. Like that they transformed like parasites or satellites to the Andhra politics. The Andhra leaders successfully utilised the weakness of Telangana leaders and continued their exploitation of this region. During the time of Congress rule, some Telangana leaders used to appear in politics. With the advent of Telugu Desam, total domination transferred to a particular cast and the presence of Telangana leaders reached to the stage of disappearance. Those who don’t know about self respect joined Telugu Desam and began to prise NTR for their political gain. During the time of Chandrababu, Telangana leaders reached to a stage in which they were unable to raise either their voice or head. Like that Chandrababu successfully destructed the back bone of Telangana leadership. During the tenure of YSR Telangana leaders totally transformed like festival image of deity of a temple. The Seemandhra leaders became successful in implementing the divide and rule policy among Telangana leaders to keep them silence on Telangana issues. Under united rule Palamuru transformed like desert and Telangana lands turned like fallow lands. Entire region subjected to face famine conditions. The lands surrounding Hyderabad distributed like cakes with lowest prices. Like that lakhs of acres of land gone under the hands of seemandhra people. During Kakatiyas, they transformed Telangana rich in agriculture by connecting the tanks in chain system. Nizam rulers made Hyderabad as international city. Under the United rulers Hyderabad totally lost its previous identity and transformed into polluted city.
Could not live as second group people in Madras these people came out of Tamil Nadu and began to cheat the Telangana people in the name of Telugu language and finally after the formation of united Andhra Pradesh, they began to show their original face. In the name of linguistic state they squeezed Telangana. Occupied tanks, ponds and nalas and made illegal constructions in indiscriminate fashion. In previous Hyderabad never faced water scarcity. With the entry of Telugu Desam destruction of Hyderabad began. A particular cast people who were in Andhra leading normal life, came to Hyderabad and became milliners. They put entire Telangana politics under their control used opportunistic leaders of this region for their benefit. The destruction of Hyderabad started from NTR and reached to peak level under the rule of Chandrababu. Once upon a time there were 4500 lakes around Hyderabad. All of them were fresh water lakes. Even Hussain Sagar also once it was fresh water lake. Now how it is everybody knows well. Those who migrated from Andhra region not only destructed the city but also the culture of Telangana. Those rulers destroyed the existence of Telangana. They shifted the income of Telangana for the growth of Andhra Pradesh. Large number of Andhra people occupied the areas of various tanks and constructed their houses. Along with leaders from seemandhra, one particular cast people spread in city and purchased lands with cheap rates under the rule of Chandrababu. They started Real business and took bank loans and became milliners in their business.
At first they have made propaganda against Telangana that the lands here are not suitable for cultivation. Gradually they began to purchase lands near river catchment areas with cheaper rates and spread in key areas in Telangana. The local Telangana farmers turned into landless labour. Entire this episode continued with systematic planning. Realising this situation Telangana people resort to agitation in which thousands of people lost their lives. KCR ignited the sentiment among the Telangana people and launched Telangana movement. Finally he got success in achieving separate state. After coming to power he forgotten all of his assurances and continued his policies in favour of them. Even important contracts were given to seemandhra persons. Due to real estate business thousand tanks were faced destruction. Even he announced Dharani, it could not stopped the occupation of tanks. In the name of implementation of welfare schemes he continued to sell the government lands and the areas of tanks. With these acts, illegal constructions spread like mushrooms. Now, Revath Reddy came to power and began his action against the illegal construction those made by occupying the buffer zones and tank areas. City residents are appreciating the action of Revanth Reddy and extending their full support to the government. If all the ponds restored those disappeared under illegal constructions Hyderabad will never face water problem. The city never inundated with flood water like Chennai and Bangalore.
