There are lot of criticisms coming on the statement given by Jagan ‘I will not attend Assembly’. Especially his sister Sharmila is also not hesitated to point out his decision. After electing as MLA not attending the Assembly is nothing but accepting his failure, she criticised. When not willing to attend Assembly, it is better to resign and after doing like that if you are willing to go either to Australia or forests in Africa nobody bothers, she added. If such type of criticisms came from either TDP or Janasena nobody will get worried. But these criticisms are coming from own sister Sharmila. This is the main reason for such a popularity is coming for her comments. Her comments put Jagan in a critical situation where he is unable to give proper answer. In 2019 people gave 151 MLAs to YSRCP where TDP satisfied with 23 seats. Then Chandrababu never had tried to mistaken the people. He attended the Assembly sessions in humble manner. Even some of his MLAs gone out of the party, simply he came to Assembly with his remaining MLAs. In Assembly when YSRCP continuously tried to oppress his voice, he didn’t turn back and continued his struggle. Finally at the age of 73, when he was put in behind the bars also Chandrababu didn’t lost his hopes. After coming out of the Jail, he began to roar like lion against Jagan. He challenged Jagan and fought till elections for the defeat of Jagan. Now Chandrababu remain as best example for leadership and proved himself as statesman. In public life there is no place for individual aspirations. Demanding like ‘I will attend Assembly when opposition leader status given’ is not good for Jagan. Such statements only create scorn among people against him. When people not given such a chance, there is no reason for him for demanding for that status.
If people gives power then I will sit in the chair…if defeated I will confined to house…such statements never give radiance to a leader who has rouse to the level of Chief Minister. When crores of people voted to power, not giving proper governing to the state is the fault of the leader. After knowing about the inability of the leader, when people through him out of power, ‘Not voting in favour of my party is the fault of people’ saying like this is never acceptable to anybody. Unfortunately the present opposition leaders’ attitude in Telugu States has been reflecting this trend. Here Telangana opposition leader KCR somewhat different to Jagan. He continued his struggle for separate state for fourteen years. He united all Telangana people for the cause of separate state. He led the movement and at one stage he had gone to the edge of death. After attaining the state he became Chief Minister and continued in power for ten years. During his tenure he had taken up so many developmental works for Telangana. Whatever he wants to do for Telangana he completed. He had shown his ability with his doings. In overall he had worked more than his strength. At present, age factor preventing him to go into the masses as like in Telangana Movement. Still he has the ability to mesmerise people with his bullet like words. The situation of Jaganmohan Reddy is totally different to that of KCR. Jagan came into power in hierarchical manner after his father. Especially he went into the people explaining how his father deceived and finally came into power with sympathy gained. He never sat ideal, he also always mingle with people. But now his sayings cause to get leanness among the people. At the same time his attitude has sending wrong signals to people that he is in politics only to attain power. After sudden demise of YS Rajasekhar Reddy, he gained lot of sympathy among Telugu people. Then he wants to become Chief Minister but Congress High Command turn against his will and made Rosaiah as Chief Minister. Antagonised Jagan resigned to Congress party and came out with 17 MLAs who stood in support of him. Then he went into the people in the name of ‘Odarpu Yatra’ and gained lot of sympathy. Then he made the 17 MLAs to resign and fought the elections. Out 17 MLAs, 15 emerged victories and two lost their election.
Pilli Subhashchandrabose who resigned his minister post for the sake of Seemandhra lost the election. Konda Surekha from Telangana stood behind Jagan also lost her seat. But after elections Jagan emerged as strong leader in united Andhra Pradesh but that gained strength still not enough to attain the power. In next election his party won 60 seats. Then again Jagan went into the people, with ‘padayatra’ he became very close to Andhra people. He announced ‘Navaratna’ programme for development. This time people gave him 151 seats which can be said as unprecedented victory. This time he misused his power by initiating vindictive actions against Telugudesam leaders. He implemented welfare schemes in large scale for one section of people those caused to raise confidence in Jagan. One year after coming to power, Corona spread in the state. Like that two year time period completed. Even after that Jagan confined to his home and never visited secretariat. Leaders were unavailable for people. With this there raised negativity among people against the government. Jagan not identified the changing scenario which led to rise of Telugudesam. At the same time Janasena also established itself at bottom level. Jagan totally relayed on his ‘Navaratnas’. He never expected that these schemes totally make him collapse. In this mean time Chandrababu Naidu copied the Jagan schemes and adding additional amount to them continued his campaign and finally attained success. In Telangana elections were held six months before of Andhra Pradesh. Congress added additional flavour to KCR schemes and went into poll which turned gainful for party and came to power by pull down strong KCR. The same formulae implemented by NDA in Andhra Pradesh. Even then Jagan might have become alert that had not occurred. Finally Jagan lost the political game and came down from the power. Now it is not time for Jagan to afflict for the loss. At the same time it is not proper for him to demand the status of opposition leader. Janasena which is in NDA alliance got more seats compare to YSRCP. Jagan must keep this fact in his mind. When lost the Chief Minister post, he has to start his struggle from now onwards to come back into power. It is not good for him to fight for opposition leader post. This will lessen his stature. Why Jagan has forgotten this simple logic is remain an unknown mystery.
