Real leader will have a vision and act like a visionary and always being in touch with people, moving towards victory; welfare, love and affection towards people are the main qualities he posses. A leader never forget his people whether he is in power or not. ‘Power’ is not a criterion for them to go in support of the people. Every time their mind is concentrated towards people. Harish Rao is such leader who had all the above characters. ‘If content is there cut-out is enough’ is an idiom which hundred percent suitable for both KCR and Harish Rao. Harish Rao is nothing but an agitation. Either fight for the cause or welfare he will do it like a movement. He also captures the love and affection of people like a movement! Harish is best example to fight. In previous he fought for the cause of Telangana. When he was in power he always strived hard for the welfare of the people and for the sake of development of Telangana. He worships his work. This is the main reason still he remain in the hearts of the people. If he is in power or not, being a leader he will always in forefront in the works related to people. He can’t be compare with other leaders. Lion is always line…elephant never lose it value…Harish is such a valuable person. He is trouble shooter and dreams for growth. He attains success in an attempt with his hard and dedicated work. He always achieves success in the work entrusted on him. He is a gainful leader who always owns the victories. In politics he has no opposition and every time comes out with victory. The unique nature of his campaign causes no other leader to compete with him. He time to time changes his strategy as per the situation demands, so that opponents never catch his star campaign nature. Even anybody accept or not accept…Harish remains a powerful and dynamic leader among the next generation politicians is an acceptable fact!
In Parliament elections as star campaigner, the role has been played by Harish Rao receiving appreciations from all sides. When compare to present, previous elections were totally different because at that time BRS was in power. So entire party cadre and second level leaders abide to party leadership and followed as per the directions from the high command. This time BRS is not in power. Now every time it is essential for the leadership to protects its cadre and moving forward with careful watching of time to time changing scenarios. Due to lack of power making the cadre to stick up to the party is also a herculean task. When party is in power all the party cadre patiently waits for the directions from the leaderships. When party remains opposition entire situation takes u-turn. Now leadership must have patience to spend more time with party cadre. This is most essential for the survival of the party. When we observe Harish Rao, he never come across such situations, because if he in power or not he always remains with party fold. ‘Neglect’ is not the attitude of him. He stood always in support of his cadre and when every need arises he will present there to solve any type of problem. This is the reason for everybody to like him and follow him always regardless he is in power or not. So for Harish like leader power never become criteria but crown like leadership quality will always makes him to lead the masses. Everybody has privilege to speak with him freely and share their ideas in relevant manner. Harish can allocate sufficient time to those who rely on his leadership.
He always used to say that, please don’t come to me with facing difficulties but you can tell me your problems whenever I comes towards you. When there is an essential situation, you can approach me, he says. Why this description about Harish Rao because most of the leaders have the nature of available only during election time. After that they never care about their cadre. Whoever meets Harish Rao for a work, within one day that problem gets solved. Making the people to meet him again and again is not the nature of Harish. That is why people always show their affection towards their leader Harish. When he contested first time for the seat Siddipet, he made house to house campaign. After that till now he never had gone for house to house campaign in his constituency. That is the leadership quality of Harish. He always remains with the people and then what is need for him to go for such rigorous campaign. People use to say him with affection that no needs to come for campaign. Such love and affection from the people for their leader is very rare and Harish is being one among such leaders.
Getting victory for his party leaders is an excellent talent possess by Harish Rao. The fighting nature habituated to Harish during Telangana agitation. During Telangana movement, no election either local or Assembly held without presence of Harish. For achieving victory Harish presence is must. During Separate State movement in every by election and local elections Harish stood in forefront to move the leaders towards the goal of victory. Every leader likes to relay on Harish for their victory. Even the responsibility of campaign in favour of BRS boss KCR also took by Harish Rao. In every elections Harish bear the responsibility of campaign both in Siddipet and Gajwel. Harish who always protects the party now took the Medak constituency as prestige and indulging in rigorous campaign. In previous Assembly elections, Harish is sole responsible for party victory in all Assembly segments except two. In Telangana by-elections means Harish Rao plays a key role. During Telangana movement nearly decade and half years he never slept well and ate well. Sometimes he uses to take bundle of files with him for making signatures. Even sitting in car also he cleared the files. Like that his car also became like office!
In every by-election Harish Rao relentless hard work brought victory for the party. Where ever and whenever he goes to any constituency he gets remember everything about the needs of the people. If he happen to speak to anyone, he never forget his name and always call him with his name even after years gone. He knows well about development and what people want. This is the reason even today Siddipet people never vote against Harish. In 1985 for the first time Harish emerged victorious in Siddipet. Then he laid foundation stones for the development of the constituency. Again in 2005 when he became MLS of Siddipet, he built beautiful city on the foundations laid by him in previous period. Under his leadership Siddipet now emerged as a city with all facilities. All the villages in the constituency are now in self sufficient due to the actions taken by Harish. Thirty years back Siddipet was a Nagara Panchayat. When KCR became MLA, he transformed it into Municipality. After achieving Telagana, Harish raised its level to Municipal Corporation. Once there was great water problem prevailed in Siddipet. KCR solved this problem and now all villages along with Siddipet are receiving sufficient water. Now drinking water facility is there for every house hold. Harish Rao is such a leader never forgotten by the people who rely on him.
