Now the election campaign came to near end. Gradually information about the people pulse is being exposed. When come to Medak, the clear picture of voters mood is seems to be turning in favour of Venkatram Reddy. During united Andhra Pradesh being as official in DWAMA, RDO and Collector for Siddipet district he is well known to the people of this district. Most of his career as higher official had been continued in the Medak district. So he knows well about the geographical and social nature of the district. He also well acquainted with people requirements. Every village, urban and semi urban areas and their necessities are well known to him. He worked very much close with the people so that he has very much acquaintance with them. Medak means draught porn area. So Venkatram Reddy knows well the areas in the district those facing severe drought conditions. That is why in providing water facilities he gave first preference to those areas while implementing the Misssion Kakatiya. In this regard he got good name in the government. Not only that his planning and dedication in implementing this scheme got good reputation to the BRS government also. At the same time he played a key role in completing the Mission Bhagiratha works in stipulated time. The construction activity of projects is not an easy task. So many difficulties arise during implementation. To cope up such unexpected adversaries it requires timely action with well understanding the situation. Even then also Venkatram Reddy played his role in efficient manner and got good name from people as well as the government. When come to ‘Palle Pragathi’, the achievements made, helped him to become closer to KCR. Then KCR decided to bring him politics. As a first step KCR made him as MLC and now gave him party ticket at Medak to contest the Parliament elections. The name and reputation of Venkatram Reddy throughout the state and favourable wind towards BRS will make this seat to fell in the Basket of KCR.
BRS is very much strong in Medak district. Especially it is the KCR’s native district. Along with united district, the newly formed districts also remain strong forts for BRS. Really speaking Medak is centre for political activities. Madanmohan is the political mentor of KCR who launched his Telangana movement from Siddipet. Later KCR gave life to this separate state agitation. Starting from here KCR continued his Telangana movement and finally achieved the state. So in these districts there is no chance for other parties. Congress and BJP have no strong cadre in these districts. These parties won’t have such strong leaders to resist BRS wave here. So since Telangana movement BRS built strong hold in these districts. Those who participated in Telangana movement now became leaders and some of them are in responsible posts. They have been maintaining good relations with the people. In rural areas also BJP is in strong position. People have strong feeling on KCR. Gajwel, Siddipet, Dubbaka, Narsapur, Patancheru, Sangareddy, Narayankhed Assembly seats are in the hands of BRS. Gajwel is the ex.CM KCR’s native constituency. No say about Siddipet. In Dubbaka also BRS is in strong position. Prabhakar Reddy won with thumping majority in this Assembly seat as BRS candidate. Even in Patancheru BRS candidates are in strong position. They are in great enthusiasm after defeating Jagga Reddy from this seat. In Narsapur Sunita Lakshma Reddy continue to be in strong position. So in overall in Medak district it is very difficult for BRS and Congress to get votes.
BRS is campaigning with much confidence added with favourable winds blowing in this constituency. After formation of separate state, Medak became a place for development activities. Like Mallanna projects might have not possible under united Andhrapradesh rule. Even other party came into power such projects might have not taken up. Only KCR with his vision on the development of Telangana, implemented number projects and transformed Telangana into rice bowl. Once Medak suffered for food, now became fertile and transformed into rice bowl only because of KCR. Most of the welfare schemes implemented by previous BRS government first launched from Medak only. With this gratitude people gave their votes in favour of BRS in previous Assembly elections. Once Medak district was continue to suffer with famine conditions. Due to various projects now entire district covered with fertile land with sufficient water supply. The tanks in the villages irrespective of season now totally filled with water. The Raitu Bandhu implemented by BRS Government helping the farmers to continue their farming activities without any delay causing them to get profits in farming. Asara and Kalyanalakhmi like scheme reached to everybody. Five months back Congress came to power and now entire district again fell in previous draught conditions. Manjeera River gradually fell in danger of drying up. Water has not been released to Mallannasagar project. Ground water table also depleting in very fast. Again water problem started in the district. It is said that Congress brought draught along with it. Telangana people are realising that, they have committed mistake by voting in favour of Congress in previous elections. Before launching of Bus tour by KCR politics were different but now KCR conducting his bus tour which transformed entire political situation in the state. Large folk of masses who have been waiting for KCR is visible during his bus tour. Villages, towns and cities are showing affection towards their leader KCR. In this back ground it is confirmed that the Medak seat will goes into the account of BRS.
