‘Don’t forget those who are in side when you are in need’ is the fact everybody knows well. It is also not good on one part to neglect those who always tried to save in precarious situations. Unfortunately Kalvakuntal Chandrasekhar Rao has intentionally committed these two mistakes. Since the beginning those who are well wishers tried to caution him against such doings but KCR never cared their words. Entire Telangana society stood behind him because he promised to achieve separate state. In previous, other leaders also told like this but they could not stand till the end. They abandoned their agitation in the middle, because of attraction towards power. They relinquished their fight for the cause of Telangana for their selfish deeds in politics. Such leaders remain as opportunistic one and hated by the people. Whereas KCR stood for his word and continued his fight till the end. He continued to fight relentlessly till achieving Telangana. This is the main reason for the Telangana society stand behind him because of his determination against all the political benefits. This attitude of KCR made the Telangana people to stand in support behind and caused him to reach his goal successfully. When the people stand behind him, politically KCR rouse to top level without facing any problem. KCR also understood this nature of people and kept himself in a position to give tickets but not stand in folded hands seeking for tickets. This reason made KCR not to relinquish his ideology of Telangana. People have been voting him to power and even if he resort to resign again and again and Telangana society stood against him and wanted him to continue in the power. No leader ever wants to lose such chance to retain his leadership with such heart full support in affection receiving from the people. When he continued his Telangana ideology, entire society stood in back of him without any hesitation. When he raised the slogan of ‘Jai Telangana’ wealth accumulation began to run the movement. Even as minister he could not amass such a huge wealth as he continued his Telangana agitation. The main reason for such fortune of affection is ‘Telangana agitation’ and Telangana people and lakhs of followers. Unfortunately after attaining power, KCR neglected everyone who stands behind him during agitation and even the entire society of Telangana. In the form of TRS and BRS party was in power for ten years. Still no party worker expressed his happiness in this period. In the name of benefits of Telangana KCR totally neglected party workers is the main reason behind this. Who got benefited with the formation of Telangana? Only KCR family is the answer. Some expressing this openly and remaining are clandestinely.
Those agitators who were been well utilized during Telangana movement now totally neglected. Even in local body elections, tickets were given to those who are financially well. Such people continued to be recognised as leaders. Those who lost their properties during agitation became poor and confined to party workers level. If BRS lost 2019 elections it might have disappeared by this time. The fortune of KCR made the party to re-elect in those elections. Even this winning not made the lives of the party workers better. They had denied of opportunities. Entire car party filled with those leaders who didn’t take part in the separate state agitation. Those who opposed Separate State movement began to join in BRS party. Those who newly joined the party got the posts where as the real fighters for Telagnana remained as workers keeping their hands folded before such leaders. Here is one key point to note that during Telangana movement or before 2014 no leader wanted to join in TRS. Only after coming to power they flooded into the party like frogs. Then KCR felt that by joining them into the party fold, TRS may become strengthened and all of them continue to loyal to him. If any posts offered to agitators, they may question KCR at any time when took wrong decisions or indulge in the activities those are not acceptable to them. This way of thinking made KCR to fear to offer posts to them. At the same time KCR also knows well that party workers gives first preference to their self respect. Etela Rajendar is best example for this. Losing such dedicated leader remains great loss to KCR. In any party, if workers own the party then only it survives. Unfortunately democratic values were not present inside BRS those prevail in BJP and Congress like parties. When Etela Rajendar announced that he is also owner of the party made KCR to become alert. Just by saying like this can Etela Rajendar behave like that? Immediately after 2019 elections KCR made his son KTR as working president. When Etela Rajendar like leaders won’t have freedom in the party, we can easily estimate how the position of other leaders in the party.
KCR took Mahamood Ali into his Cabinet and continued his rule for three months without forming his cabinet. Even after that period KCR did not offer minister posts to Etela Rajendar and Harish Rao. Then discussions started in Telangana about the attitude of KCR. When KCR remain in Delhi looking at the politics there, Etela Rajendar looked after the party, agitation and Assembly in Telangana. Unfortunately Etela was kept in side track by KCR for some time and by the time of Warangal Municipal elections party expelled him. When come to Harish Rao, we never expect an agitation run by KCR without him. During elections Harish Rao took all the responsibilities and put all his efforts to remain the party in victory path. For this purpose he left without sleep for number of days. KCR never hesitate to keep Harish Rao also aside for some time. This attitude of KCR did not like by the Telaganana society. At the same time he filled the party with those leaders who opposed Telangana. Even KCR is committing such mistakes; Harish Rao continued his efforts to protect the party. Harish did not like to invite the Telangana opponents into the party fold. Unfortunately he forced to have discussions and facilitated them to join the party. Now no such leader is present in BRS. All of them already left in search of their political future. Those who totally rely on KCR are now left the politics. With the attitude of inviting those opportunistic leaders and by keeping distance those who are loyal to party, KCR committed great mistake which caused irreparable damage to party. Finally Council Chairman Gutta Sukhendar Reddy also left the party. Rakesh Reddy continue to hard criticiser against KCR and KTR got chance for MLC ticket. KCR did not heed the suggestions of party leaders to give ticket to a participant in the agitation. KCR created the situation which people to keep him aside. Now they voted him out of power and cautioned KCR that further BRS never be in their hearts!
