HYDERABAD,NETIDHATHRI:

At present Telangana Assembly witnessing some limit crossing incidents by the members. While speaking MLAs are belittling the culture and tradition of the state and bringing disgrace to Telangana. They are imposing their absence of understanding on to the people of the state. While expressing their discontent MLAs are crossing their limits by using abusive words on their opponents. Recently Danam Nagendar lost his patients attacked the opposition with his abusive words. This type of scene never witnessed in the state Assembely in previous occasions. It seems that using such un-parliamentary language leaders intended to bring in to the Assembly the culture of Andhra Pradesh. Till now in Telangana healthy political climate continue to prevail. In Telugu language the dialect of Telangana has its own beauty. There is no place for abusive words in this dialect. The beauty of this dialect is more than that of Sanskrit language. Now these leaders using their abusive language in this dialect are nothing but belittling the beauty of it. Once in films using this Telangana dialect for villains was not accepted by this society. Our society waged war against using this dialect in negative shade in the films. In such a situation, the language used by Danam Nagendar in the Assembly is being condemned by this polite society of Telangana. Using such abusive language is nothing but humiliation for the state. Unfortunately Danam substantiating his attitude alleging that BRS MLAs incited him to speak like that. Respecting the parents is our tradition. There is lot of difference between language used in outside the society and Assembly. While speaking MLAs must behave in responsible manner and continue to maintain restrain. Using abusive language scolding the elders is not an acceptable behaviour. Even in outside such talking never accepted by anybody. So Danam Nagendar used language in Assembly is subject to condemn. At the same time it can’t be endorsed the method of maintaining that, useing such language is very common in Telangana. Language is like mirror for our culture and tradition. Talking the language mixing the abusive words can’t receive any support from the society.

Ten years back when BRS government came to power, first time MLA from Suryapet and became Minister Jagadish Reddy while answering a question, then Congress MLAs waged walkout the house. When they were going out of Assembly under the leadership of Janareddy, ‘they have no patience even hear the answar’ commenting like that Jagadish Reddy used an abusive word. Then mike was not in on. So this word was not entered into the records. After returning back in to the house Jana Reddy rose this using of un-parliamentary word and said this nothing but humiliating the polite society. Immediately KCR stood and expressed his apology to the Assembly and said that this member is new to the Assembly don’t know how to speak in this house so un-intentionally used this word. Saying like that he once again said unconditional apology to the house. After that he decided to conduct training classes for new members to train them on how to speak in the Assembly. Later no such un-parliamentary words were used in the house and every time Assembly went on peacefully with dignified manner. Now the comments made by Danam Nagendar were strongly criticised by Akbaruddin owaisi. He also said that senior member like Danam Nagendar might have not used such abusive language in the house.

Chandrababu Naidu being Chief Minister for nine years always used to say that he never hesitate to take action against those members indulge in unruly behaviour in this house. Not only had that he never crossed the limit while speaking in the Assembly. Unfortunately after bifurcation of the united Andhra Pradesh, now in the AP Assembly has been witnessing the scenes of using such abusive language without any control. Telugudesam was first to start this tradition. Then TDP MLA Bonda Uma used abusive language against YSRCP Gudivada MLA Nani and scolded like anything. This created flutter not only in the house but also in the state. After that incident AP Assembly didn’t witnessed the incidents of using such too much abusive language. When YSRCP came into power in 2019 party leaders used to scold the TDP MLAs in outside the house but not inside. At present everybody is showing his finger towards Nagender for his tongue slip. After 2004 elections senior Congress leader late Rosaiah also once lost his patience and shouted that he will remove the hand of Chandrababu. Later he substantiated it by saying that was as unexpected and used the word with fondness. Every time Chandrababu showing finger towards me, that is why I responded like that, Rosaiah then said. Later he said his apology also. Before 2009 elections the comments made by YSR on Chandrababu also created flutter in the house. Using such words remains a black spot in his political career. ‘You will weep why I had born to this mother’… this was the comment made by YSR. These words were severely condemned by people’s rights activists and other political leaders. It was said that the effect of these words fell on 2009 elections. In these elections TDP won in 99 seats and became strong when compare to 2004 election when this party only confined to 45 seats. The comments made by political leaders in the house will definitely have their effect on people. So it is necessary for the leaders of political parties to control their tongue while speaking in the house.
