Now we are again looking at the scenarios of the Telangana movement in the state. The presence of masses in large numbers for the road shows and public meetings conducted by KCR is the best example of his ‘cherishma’ remaining intact. Not caring about the scorching sun, people are eagerly waiting for their beloved leader who brought a separate state and caused for eliminating the plights of farmers along with all sections of Telangana. When heard about the visit of KCR in their region, immediately people rushed to the place where the KCR meeting was held. They are not hesitating to wait for him, on the occasion of his visit being delayed. They are of the strong opinion that only KCR can solve their problems and treat him as a troubleshooter for the plight they have been facing. Speaking this is the craze of KCR among Telangana masses that grew up during the Telangana movement. They have been waiting for their leader even in the time of mid-summer is the main point being run has become an astonishing factor for those observing the politics of Telangana. They responded well to his speeches and raised slogans in favour of him in the middle of his speeches. They are in the feeling that KCR is only leader who can stand in support, while they are in trouble. While looking at him after a long time, the hearts of the people filled with enormous joy and expressed their favour towards him with their gestures. The presence of such a large number of people shows how a strong opposition party can prevent the government from doing un-favour to the people. The craze towards KCR reached peak level which made the Congress and BJP leaders to rethink about their expectations. At the same time the leaders of both parties in fear about the election results. When observing the response to KCR public meetings and road shows, there appears to be flutter among BJP and Congress leaders and being fell a nightmare about their defeat in these elections. Looking at the tremendous response received by KCR, their previous hopes gradually diminished and left in fear of defeat. The entry of KCR into the election campaign gradually transformed the situation in favour of BRS, which Congress and BJP felt till now that the wave is in favour of them. Now they are in the mood of losing confidence by observing the anger among people against them. For ten years period BJP never bothered about the plights of the Telangana people and always tried to keep the state in trouble. Within four months of the period after coming into power Congress gained antagonism among people with its unpopular anti-people activities. With the entry of KCR, state politics have been turning fast and political scholars also expressing their astonishment at the speed of changes that have been taking place in the state. On this occasion, Yerrabelly Dayakar Rao interacted with Katta Raghavendra Rao, Editor of Netidhatri and shared his opinions on this current scenario.
This mass response never expected
In general, leaders become enthusiastic when they look at the presence of people in large numbers. The KCR road shows now have transformed the entire scenario of Telangana, which has been making both Congress and BJP fear about their future. In his ten years of rule KCR eliminated the troubles of people who faced during sixty years under the united rulers. KCR not only fought for 14 years for separate Telangana but also strived hard to eliminate the troubles faced by the people. For this purpose, he went to a stage where he kept ready himself to sacrifice his life for the cause of Telangana. Every person in Telangana has affection for KCR for this bold attempt to bring a separate state. It was unfortunate that the people believed the negative campaign of Congress against BRS. At the same time, BRS failed to counter those allegations and moved in a proactive way. This party was only left behind with a margin of votes of 1.8%. We can’t say this minute difference is defeat. Congress deceived the people
Congress gave six guarantees. These six contain a total of 13 assurances. Out of them till now they have implemented only two assurances but saying that all were implemented. Still, they are trying to deceive the people. How far they can be able to keep people’s distance from the facts? People can bear anything up to some extent but never tolerate the betrayal. Till now Raitubandhu has not paid. There is no gold for Kalyana Lakshmi. Scooties were not distributed to young women as per the assurance given during the election campaign. No distribution of Rs.2500 and regular pension payment till now has not taken place for women. If you go on telling like that a total of 420 assurances have not been implemented so far. Immediately after winning the elections, Congress assured assurance regarding the loan waiver. After that, it said a hundred days for implementation. Now they are telling before 15th, August. Is there any guarantee that the government can implement this as it said? Congress leaders are unable to accept the challenge of Harish Rao. If Congress fails to fulfil the promise of waiver of loans for farmers, then it will become nothing but deceiving the people. Now the Telangana people are not in a position to believe Congress. They never cost their vote in favour of Congress. In rural areas, Congress leaders are facing a negative wave and people are questioning their failures in these four months period. Especially they are raising questions on the implementation of six guarantees. Tanks in the state now are in the state of defunct. Crops in lakhs of acres now have been facing dry-up conditions. Nobody has come forward to purchase paddy. Who can pay a Rs.500 bonus for paddy?
All are failures during Congress
Since the Congress came into power, the problems of the people began and now they are in the feeling that it is a great mistake committed by them is vote in favour of Congress. In the last ten years, nobody faced water problems. Mission Bhagiratha water is supplied to every household. Especially there was no disruption of water supply in Hyderabad. Plentiful water is supplied to twin-cities people regularly. This can be said as the greatest contribution made by KCR. Now once again the water supply is being given for once in three days. In the last ten years, there were no water tankers in Hyderabad. Now they again entered. Speaking Congress brought draught along with it. Even five months back background water table is considerably high. Unfortunately, now they have been depleting. Wells and tanks are gradually reaching the stage of defunct. Now entire river water has been released into sea is nothing but the in-efficiency of the present ruler. Congress leaders misguided the people and tried to unpopular the BRS. Now the time has come for the people to show their anger against the government in the form of votes!
