Is it Hyderabad is the centre for all types of treatments? What is the need from remote areas regularly coming to Hyderabad in the name of proper treatment? Tens of private hospitals are present in newly formed districts? Even in previous united districts also there are number of hospitals. Government medical colleges are present in newly formed districts. Private hospitals are addition to them. Then what is the need of joining the victims of accidents in Gandhi Hospital or Osmania Hospital or Private Corporate hospitals? If it is an emergency case the district hospitals recommend the patients shall be shifted to Hyderabad? Every day it became very common that hundreds of ambulances are coming to Hyderabad from the districts.
In Warangal district head quarters there is one medical college. MGM hospital is present. Multispecialty hospitals also present in Warangal. Even then also there is no guarantee for the live of patients who join for treatment.
Now treatment transformed into a big source of income. People are now getting tremble to take treatment in private hospitals. The fear of decease among people causing mental agony and medical expenses now became heavy burden on common man. The political parties what they says during election campaign really make the people to fell in astonishment. Now it is became very common practice to take health policies worldwide. The people lives in the cities of our country opt to take health policies but in rural areas people won’t take any health policy. It is not because of non awareness on health policies but not having money to pay thousands of rupees in a particular time. People are habituated to LIC policies but they still not in a positions to take the health policies. This is not their weakness. If death occurs, LIC policy will give support to the family of the deceased member. When comes to health policies, it become a burden for them to pay such huge amount as premium. The political leaders gives hundreds of assurances at the time of campaign, but after coming to power it is very natural for them to forget the assurances what they given. People also have not showing any interest to ask those leaders about their assurances. The reluctance of governments and negligence is causing the people to save some amount of money from their hard earnings to meet their medical expenses. At the same time the private hospitals also habituated to blackmail the governments. Central Government says about ‘Ayushmanbhava’ where as State Government says about ‘Arogysri’. Since two decades Arogyasri is being implemented. Can you observe any better health conditions prevail among the people? Can any common man able to receive free medical treatment in Government Hospitals? Private hospitals are not hesitating to collect huge amounts of money in addition to Arogysri amount. Private hospitals are now squeezing the people in the name of protecting their lives by collecting the money from the government in the form of Arogyasri and additional amount from the people. Even though they have been successfully collecting such huge amounts, how many lives are being saved? If you bring out the real calculations the facts those comes out will fell in great astonishment.
Squeezing the poor people
If anybody happens to come for treatment in any hospital, he must prepare himself to spent money in lavish. Really speaking hospitals are sucking the blood of the people in the name of fees. Governments won’t ask such hospitals about their activities because these are also used to pay party funds to every political party. If anybody comes to hospitals to small checkups, they collect huge money in the name of tests from them. In the name of treatment, hospitals are exploiting the people. Can you understand the hundreds of crores business that has been happening in the name of treatment from Mandal level to Capital city level?
Is Government making any inquiry?
Why Medical colleges established in every district? What is the meaning of a medical college? These are the institutions where the students will learn medicine and become doctors. In such medical college hospitals, state of art medical facilities are not available means what? How the students will acquaint with modern medical equipments and treatments? Even in Warangal like cities, no proper treatment is available for patients. Is there any evil more than this? Most of the hospitals are belong to Nizam period. What the rulers brought new changes in the medical education and treatments? What is the reason behind the non availability of quality medical treatments in Warangal and Karimnagar like cities? Warangal is considered as crest of jewel for North Telangana. Then what happened to it? Hospitals are doing nothing except collecting the money from the people in the form of fees. Every day tens of emergency medical cases are being sent to Hyderabad from Warangal? Why most of the people won’t express their confidence on the treatment they get in Warangal? It is not proper for rulers by simply saying about the scheme of Aryogyasri. In North India along with Maharastra the hospitals are being maintained jointly by government and private sector. Till now they are not allowing total private treatment. With this, hospitals, doctors and managements will have fear on possibility of happening of mistakes. There maintained clear accounts on each and every transaction and treatment made. Rulers will have specific understanding on how the treatments are going on in the hospitals. At the same time they have specific control on hospitals which prevent any fraudulent activities happen. Such system is not present here. Either private or Government treatment is available here. Again it is very common that the government doctors run their own hospitals. Those doctors working as district medical officers also maintain their own hospitals. They draw huge amounts as monthly salaries. Really speaking these District Medical Officers shall have to maintain their control on government as well as private hospitals. Unfortunately that has not been happening. Now they have spoiled entire system. Just they are working to encourage people to take private treatment for the sake of Arogyasri collections. At the same time they will receive amounts in the form of commissions from Private hospitals. Even in Hyderabad some fake doctors and hospitals are being function means what we have to say about our intelligent system? Unfortunately, government funds as usually going on spending but poor people are not getting free treatment equivalent to such amount allocated. At the same time poor people also paying their hared earned money for the treatment they received. By looking all these things will lead us to get doubt on the fault in this system. Why such plays in the name of treatments? What is the reason behind plundering money in the form of Arogyasri? Why government is showing its reluctance in enhancing the treatments in Government hospitals? Why the governments won’t respond on the frauds in Private health insurances? When we get proper answers for these questions, then this system automatically set right itself. Otherwise we can’t expect a better system more than it prevailed.
