Generally we have in opinion that injustice is a crime irrespective of that takes place. In some cases there may appear some exceptions to such injustices. When law is in favour, the fraudulent activities of some people never become exposed. Really speaking this is happening in Chitrapuri colony. Since four decades the poor cine workers are constantly struggling for allocation of sites to construct their own houses. Today nobody is ready to heed what they are saying. They can have only once option to request the ministers or MLAs or other senior officials to take steps to allocate their sites on which they have genuine right. Not more than that they can’t do anything because of their poverty. To their unfortunate some influential people entered and occupied nearly 14 acres of land from the sites allocated to the poor workers and completed the construction of row houses. Being influential cine personalities the poor workers unable to resist the injustice caused to them and unable to fight against land grabbing’s. In the name of society some fraudulent people extended their helping hand to such wicked people and remain in silent as innocent one. One genuine personality who had struggled a lot to get this land allocated to poor cine workers. Now with the entry of land grabbers entire his work left in vain. Nobody is feeling injustice while the land belongs to workers had gone under the occupation of some influential people who have the ability to control the system. Now one new issue came into limelight for everybody’s astonishment.
Actually in Chtrapuri there is permission only for the contractions of apartments. Even an influential personality have to purchase one apartment but not and independent plot. Unfortunately since the beginning the Chitrpuri colony history moved in wrong track with the advent of so called cine ‘elders’. With the help of the society people, they acquire plots for their houses and constructed illegally row houses in luxury fashion. Like that one by one entered and now 250 people constructed their row houses in the plots acquired in illegal manner. At the time of previous elections, cine workers met Revanth Reddy and explained in detail about their plight caused by those fraudulent people. Then Revanth Reddy heard all story behind in patience and assured them to take severe action if come to power. At the same time as per the indication of Revanth Reddy Chitrapuri Colony issue also included in the manifesto of Congress Party. Now eight months have gone for the new government after coming to power. Till now Chitrapuri Colony issue remain in where it was and not a single step moved forward in the direction of getting solution. Taking this as lenience the cine personalities continue their row house constructions without any obstructions. In various places in the twin-cities GHMC official are dismantling the houses of middle and lower middle class people in the name of illegal constructions without showing any mercy. Those innocent people who purchased the sites and constructed the houses and continue to reside in such houses since years. Still the officials are not giving any chance to them and doing their dismantle work. In the case of middle and lower middle class people along with poor GHMC officials won’t show any mercy and do their work without any hesitation. When comes to Chitrapuri Colony they are forgetting their duties in the cover of bribes. Here bribes and influence causing to change the nature of justice! In this corrupt system it will become avarice to expect justice to poor people who are deprived of money and influence. Now the workers are questioning the attitude of the officials who continue to stand in support of row house owners.
It is said that a minister who held key post in the cabinet also remain in support of these row house owners. There are allegations that he is demanding for two houses for him for making favour to those ‘personalities’. If it is true, then how can we expect that justice may occur for these people? Such Minister not condemned these allegations and the Chitrapuri people can’t expose this matter. Any elections in the region of GHMC poling is not being crossed more than 37%. That means such ‘elder’ people won’t come to booths to cast their vote. Only poor will come to the booths and exercise their voting right. Unfortunate thing is that poor people gives their vote and bring any party into power. Those who come to power show their inclination towards such influential people badly neglecting the poor. Those who are completing their row houses are financially very strong enough to purchase houses at any place in the city. Unfortunately they are eying on this cheep Chitrapuri lands those belong to poor cine workers. We won’t find any reason for the attitude of these people. Even now if steps moves forward to make justice to people, it will be proved that justice caused to the people. Otherwise everyone may conclude that the allegations coming on the minister are true. The Government can’t move away from its responsibility of making justice to the poor workers.
