All of a sudden TRS scarf appeared on the neck of Harish Rao caused very much curiosity among the party leaders. It is not an unexpected action. It must be an indication to the people as well as party leaders about something will happen in future. During party meeting at Sangareddy, all the party leaders wear BRS scarves except Harish Rao. This scarf appeared only on the neck of Harish Rao. Especially on the occasion of auspicious day ‘Toli Ekadasi’ this incident took place means it is a strong indication about the intention of party leadership. Really speaking two years back TRS scarves kept aside. They are not appearing anywhere in the party. Instead anybody specifically wants to wear it; otherwise TRS scarf will not appear. Now the TRS scarf wore by Harish Rao is not old but new. It is an indication that new TRS scarves are being prepared. In recent KCR continue to remain silent. He is also assuring the party leaders that party will definitely come into power in future. At the same time he is leaving those leaders who want to leave the party. Now preparations are going on to give TRS flavour to the party. That means in near future TRS scarves will adorn the necks of TRS leaders. Recently KTR and Harish Rao went to Delhi and stayed there for some time. During their stay, here some rumours spread that BRS is going to merge with BJP and these two leaders are in negotiations with BJP leaders on this issue. What really happened, these two leaders held discussions with Election Commission regarding the change of BRS again into TRS. After getting green signal from the Commission these two came back to Hyderabad. So, Harish Rao scarf indicates the positive response from the EC to change the party name. On this issue EC may issue an announcement in soon. In this back ground in order to send indication to party cadre Harish Rao might wore this TRS scarf especially on the occasion of ‘Toli Eekadasi’ festival.
Enthusiasm among cadre
At this juncture people want something from KCR. Their main desire is that KCR must come into the masses. They want to see KCR who led the Telangana movement. This remains the strong desire of scholars and people. ‘Neti Dhatri’ also wrote number of stories on this issue. There prevails a slander that KCR supported those MLAs who indulged in so much corrupt practices and gained antagonism among the people. KCR not concentrated on the atrocities made by BRS MLAs in their constituencies. This also caused great debacle for the party. On the other side KCR also kept aside the leaders who participated in Telangana movement. Everybody expected that KCR will visit the families of victims of Telangana movement which never took place. This also created some negative impact on him among the people. He gave top priority to those leaders who came from other parties who didn’t participate in Telangana agitation. This was the great mistake committed by KCR. When big accident occurred near Kondagattu causing deaths of many, KCR didn’t come out to console the victims and their families. This also one of the reasons for people went against BRS. During 2018 elections he began to say that, the dirt that accumulated since six decades can’t be cleaned within five years period. People then believed his stance and voted him to power. On the other side KCR has shown excellent development in Telangana. He constructed the Kaleswaram, solved the electricity problem, renovated the defunct tanks and filled them with water. He also created irrigation facilities to farm lands and transformed the state in to rice bowl. Even he did everything to people, only fault remain him is reluctant to outreach the masses. This fault created negative impact among the people. KCR fell in the trap of Revanth Reddy. Most of the MLAs gained bad name among the people with their corrupt practices. Everybody knows that if they get tickets again defeat is ultimate result. ‘Netidhatri’ also wrote number of stories cautioning KCR to change MLAs in the coming elections. Instead of awake with all news coming against his MLAs simply took the challenge posed by Revanth to give tickets to existing MLAs and win the elections. This is nothing but trap created by Revanth. KCR simply fell in this trap without taking any steps to change the MLA candidates turned disastrous to the party in the elections. KCR never heed the words of well wishers that Revanth is creating a trap in the form of challenge. At the same time unemployed people turned against him. The problems of Dharani, official’s corruption practices, MLAs illegal earning all such things piled up also another cause for the defeat of BRS. After the elections, people expressed their opinion that MLAs may be defeated but KCR will definitely win the elections. KCR is still in the hearts of people. Even now if he comes out and intermingle with masses definitely he will get a chance to regain his strength. At the same time the change of name as TRS will also fetch the party.
Time has come
Immediately after coming to power KCR announced that TRS is transformed into political party. Immediately after this announcement he faced the allegation that he kept aside the real agitators. That is not true. He gave some posts to those who took part in Telangana movement but he kept aside number of leaders who really fought for the cause of Telangana. That means KCR only gave power to those who remain subservient to him and kept all others outside. At the same time he tantalized the other agitators for ten years without offering them any posts. He gave priority to those Telgangana betrayers and who find fault the Talangana agitation. He gave posts to those who scolded him during Telangana movement. This fact revealed by party leaders so many times. KCR strategy had given some positive results for some time but all the days never remain same. At the same time Telangana people strongly wanted KCR to confined to state. They never supported his intention to take part in National politics. Only KCR can do justice to Telangana. Like him no other leader will think on the welfare of Telangana. The leaders belong the National party shall work according to the instructions given by their high command. KCR frequently told that people only his high command. Then the people never wanted him to go for National politics. Especially people never accepted the decision of KCR to give chance to Telangana betrayals. If KCR had not given chance, Tummala Nageswar Rao might not have political future. Tummala Nageswar Rao is not at all favoured Telangana. He never participated in separate state movement. He never gave statement in favour of Telangana. KCR gave preference to that leader but now he distanced himself to KCR.
Danam Nagedar also same
Danam nagender gave orders to make lathi charge against the agitators. For such leader KCR gave minister post. If KCR has not given such a chance the political career of Danam Nagendar might have collapsed. KCR fully utilised the services of Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy and kept him aside. Angered Ponguleti left the party and joined Congress. He also made vow to defeat BRS in Khammam district and succeeded in doing so. If KCR gave tickets to agitators they might have won the elections. KCR brought Puvvada Ajaykumar from Congress and gave him ticket. His leadership turned disastrous for the party in the Khammam. Puvvada Ajay played a key role in making Ponguleti to quit the party. In Warangal district also KCR blindly believed the allegations made against Rajaiah and kept him aside. What happened now? There is no proper leader in the district to fight for the party. Giving preference to Kadiam Srihari caused total collapse of party in Warangal district. Even now KCR has to keep in mind one key factor, that giving chance to real leaders who fought for the cause of Telangana. Institutional development is badly needed and for this purpose proper leaders shall be selected. Instead of making the people and leaders to come towards him, must go into the people is most important for KCR. At-least two days in a week he shall go into the people. If he think, ‘now there are no elections, so I will sleep in the house’, this attitude cause fatal for the party. Look at Chandrababu. When his party defeated in 2004, he immediately went into the people. Again he faced defeat in 2009. Still he never lost his hope. At that time Telangana announcement came. He went into the people with the slogan of ‘United Andhra Pradesh’. In 2014 regained the power in new Andhra Pradesh state. Again in 2019 election he lost the power. At his old age he went to jail. Then his son Lokesh took the ‘padayatra’ and won with thumping majority in 2024 elections. That is the leadership quality. If KCR continues his attitude not to go into the people, lakhs of real agitators will become squashed. Otherwise they have to look for other ways for their individual growth.
