HYDERABAD,NETIDHATHRI:
Till now BC sections have been treated only as vote banks by the political parties. Why the political parties are unable to accept the BC leadership? Because proper leadership not developed till now among the BC sections. At the same time there is no change in their traditional attitude. Till now there is no strong leader to raise the voice of BCs in higher levels. At this juncture there is great need of enlightenment among BCs. Now one new leader came into limelight who wants to show the real power of these sections. He wants to raise the slogan in favour of back ward sections like storm winds. That leader is Mallanna. He is became the young plant to fight against the cause of injustice to backward classes. Now he wants to raise this sprout to the level of a large tree with expanded canopy. He wants begin an agitation in favour of BCs more powerful than that of Telangana movement. He is famous among Telangana people as Teenmar Mallanna, who was once journalist. At present he wants become voice and slogan in favour of backward sections. When the people belong to these sections are fell in disappointment with lack of strong leadership, now a torch bearer came forward to show them right way to achieve power. This is the right time for backward community for awaken and fight for their genuine rights. Everybody wants to show their authority on BCs. This is not at all acceptable. How many years, such suppression is to bear by BC society. During Telangana movement only BCs fought and stood in front. When we go back to the period of Telangana armed struggle, only BCs fought against Nizam government and zamindars. If we look into history we can understand how these people sacrificed their lives in various struggles those took place in different occasions. Name achieved by some others, and BCs left with sacrifices. ‘Doras’ were driven away from villages during Telangana struggle. But they went to nearby towns and cities and began some other business and became milliners. Some of them turned into political leaders. What happened in Telangna movement? For not getting Minister Post KCR brought Telangana agitation. He incited the Telangana sentiment among the people and successfully run the agitation and finally achieved separate state. During the movement he promised to make BC leader as Chief Minister. Like that he gave so many assurance most of them were not implemented. After coming to power he forgot his assurances and continued his rule unopposed. Like that KCR achieved the power that he wants. Nobody questioned him. He promised to provide job opportunities to unemployed people but he never took initiation towards it. This is the fight for water and land he assured but his fight confined to become much more powerful. For his unfortunate finally in 2024 elections he lost his power due to the angry shown by the people. He is also one such ‘Dora’ who was driven away from villages. But in another way he got success to retain control on the state. Saying in other words their power expanded from villages to state level. Then what is the gain for BCs who relentlessly fought for the cause. They were divided and ruled in the name of casts and sub-casts. In these tricky politics BCs left only with their miserable conditions. Their fighting left in vain and only made benefit to ‘Doras’. Is this the Telangana we wanted? Is it possible for BCs to get the power to rule the state? Yes it is possible when a genuine leader from their community comes forward to fight for them. Now Teenmar Mallanna came in front to lead BCs towards power.
He wants to fight
He is saying that he will come forward to fight for the cause of BCs. This will benefit the future generations. His opinion is that, BCs should not remain as followers of others. They must be in a position to lead any movement. BCs should rise to the level to rule the state. For this purpose social justice is essential. He wants such enlighten society of BCs. For this purpose from the field level, that means from Panchayat level to district level, sarpanch post to zilla parishad post shall be occupied by BCs. Then only it will become possible to grab the power at state level. Since seven decades BCs heard the voices of so many leaders and left like only followers. In those days BC seminars held but only small number of leaders arouse but unable to establish themselves in their positions. Now Teenmar Mallanna came forward for the sake of BCs. In this background he has been questioning the BC society if they want to continue like Sheppard’s. Those who are wealthy were opened the ‘sheep farms’ and earning crores of rupees. Whereas others remain in their positions without gaining any change. Those who took loans in crores of rupees are employing the BCs to work under them like milking the cattle and other farming works. If any BC person took loan, bankers will sit on him till the repayment made. This is not right. If you want to reform your life, it is possible only with achieving power. It is not correct if you want to remain as toddy tapper. There must be an improvement in your lives. Forward cast people running their business like hotels and bars but BCs remain where they are.
BCs should become creators of history
As Sheppard or toddy tapper the life will not change. Achieving the power only bring changes in our lives. Telangana armed struggle ended with success but BCs never got their lands. Only satisfaction remained and never brought any changes in the lives of BC sections in Telangana. Now it is not the time to fight for eradication of hunger but is to fight to achieve power. This fight must remain in the history as a struggle for social justice. Willing to fight is not enough but that must transformed in to action. Then only fruitful results could become possible. Now Teenmar Mallanna came forward to achieve this goal for the sake of BCs. So it is the duty of every BC to fight for this bright future under the leadership of Teenmar Mallanna.
